I updated the linuxded from 02-10-03 to 02-22-03 and resetted
ServerSettings.con to defaults (except Servername and limiting Bandwith
for users with game.ServerBandwithChokeLimit 20000)

I use email signature normally.
Did someone got problems with it? I use MS Outlook XP :)

I'll disable digital signature then.

I don't beilieve there's anything but official patches, which are
located at http://icculus.org/betas/bf1942

As for the security thingie, it's plain text... I saw a line that said
"click here" but it's just text, no clickable link.
