lag issue and planes

Hi,
i've noticed that there's no lag when you play a map with no planes or is this a coincidence(did I spell this right?)? Like the berlin map, we played with 14 people and no lag occured. 
this is the server: 195.130.132.156: 14567
can someone else verify this?
