[bf1942] the pure / unpure server issue - need clarification

Content checking set to "2" considers a larger set of CRCs than the
default BF1942 set, so if the server administrator has included CRCs
for Merciless such clients could join at "2" but not at "1".

hi andreas, list,

thanks a lot for replying, i know you must be very busy right now with
the
immenent release and all
just one further clarification, it's again because of that cheat gateway
called merciless:
if i don't clear merciless (and i really don't want to) and players have
it
installed anyway as many have the server will get positive crc check for
bf1942 and a negative one for merciless. what does the server do now if
it's
set to:

content checking mode "1" ?
content checking mode "2" ?

with 1 the server would kick the player because of the mod i believe?
what happens with 2 enabled?

thanks,
yokai
