with dial-up i also mean DSL, not only ISDN or V.9x.
most of our members at bf-42.org use DSL lines from the Deutsche Telekom
(T-DSL) with DHCP-assigned IP adresses.
T-DSL flatrates are very common here in germany.

I doubt most players are using dial-up for bf1942, actually.
