[bf1942] server lag issues

Last night I had between 10 and 22 people on the server and pings
skyrocketed. Everyone had 150 or more, when they normally have around 40 or
even lower. This hasn't happened before with that many players and other
builds. CPU load was around 65% but could go up to 85%. The map was Iwo
Jima, not sure if it happened on other maps as well.

The server is a Dell 2650 Dual P4 2.2 with 2 Gig ram.

p.s. of all the times the server crashed it displayed the exact same message
(always with the guadalcanal file):
