Me neither, but the main issue at hand is: Why isn't anybody playing on
the Linux servers? I don't reckon our pipe is too slow or something like
that, so what else could be the reason?
On related news, some pals of mine have reported that their german 1.2
BF1942 copies (LEGAL copies ofcoz) cannot connect to, nor see my server
in the in-game browser. Following their statements, not even manually
adding the server works - Connection Error. They say (and I tend to
believe them as they don't have a reason to lie about that) that they
have been merrily playing on other (Windows) servers. I, however, can
connect with my german retail copy with the US/EU 1.2 patch applied.
Is there something still wrong with Gamespy?

Good point. I guess that's the must-get-flight-need-to-compile-new-beta
hurry.

I'd suppose that this is the only box Ryan can compile on. If the server
were OSS (which it clearly won't become), he'd have access to
Sourceforge's Compile Farm which tends to be helpful with such problems.
If there were any support by EA regarding this matter, I guess he'd find
something similar there. I am beginning to wonder if EA give a s**t
about Linux...?
