[bf1942] Best Version of Linux to run for this test?

Hmmm... still the same.  Midway is so bad I can't even move when I spawn,
much less get to a plane and try to fly anywhere.

I'm perplexed... part of me says that if others can make it work, I should
be able to also.  But I don't know what else to try, unless there is
something that can be changed to help in the Linux kernel.
