Hi guys happy New Year I have been using Mandrake 8.0 stock kernal with no
problems so far. This is on a Athlon 1Gig with 192MB Ram. It is set up for
Lan Partys, also I have not tried any water maps as of yet but will get back
when I do so. I will be Upgrading to Mandrake 9.0 and I will let you know if
there is any difference

Hi!

I tested it on Suse 8.1 (PIII 600 448MB RAM) and it was quite laggy with
only one player.... at least no crashes so far.

On the second Server (untied linux Beta 3 , AMD XP 1800+ 128MB Ram) ist
not so laggy but it is still not really playable :-(

P.S.: a happy new year to all!

Using a 2.4 series kernel with Debian 3.0, I've had the usual problems -
high lag on water maps, major memory consumption after a few hours.
