[bf1942] Proof of a memory leak?

My 12 Player server starts off with around 88mb and after a night of
full use and no players on the server this morning, it's up to 562mb.
Ouch.

N.B. The buffer check is one specific measurement from vmstat worth
checking that as well as total memory / swap usage. From previous
experience the Linux kernel will kill the process using the most memory
when it runs short.
