[bf1942] Status of Linux server? Ryan? Hello?

"It has been 8 days since we heard from Ryan, when the current release of
his software is not usable."

Dude it's BETA! 8 days? We're lucky it hasn't been 8 months! Give Ryan a
break and let him work on it. We are all helping him by pointing out
problems we have found. It's not any help just saying "the current release
of his software is not usable". Do you think his job is easy? Maybe you
could do better?

Keep up the good work Ryan, don't let these types get to ya.

I think all of us understand the transparency bug is an issue that only can
be solved by a new client patch. I know this is about the Linux server. The
Linux server, as released, has serious bugs which we have been discussing
since last Monday.

in the hopes that he would see this and respond with an update, given the
relatively high traffic the list has had in the last week.
