When you say ASE is broken, do you mean the load for ASEHost.so? My
server gets the following errors:

STREAM_DEBUG: Adding backend service:
/usr/local/games/bf1942-lnxded-1.3beta/MultiplayerServers/ASEHost.so
STREAM_WARNING:
dlopen("/usr/local/games/bf1942-lnxded-1.3beta/MultiplayerServers/ASEHos
t.so") failed!
STREAM_WARNING:  ... dlerror() says:
"/usr/local/games/bf1942-lnxded-1.3beta/MultiplayerServers/ASEHost.so:
undefined symbol: ASEQuery_check".
FORMAT_ERROR: 1Failed to load
/usr/local/games/bf1942-lnxded-1.3beta/MultiplayerServers/ASEHost.so

But the server still shows in ASE. Look for "GW-BF1942-Lnx-1.3" in ASE.
