yeah - use screen to run the server. it really helps, i run my CounterStrike server and BF1942 servers under different logins of screen --- this allows me to close the terminal window, and then 'revisit' the servers later (much better than running the server in the background)

If u need to admin either of the servers (and you can run alot) - resume screen with the "screen -r" then select the appropriate screen session.

I run my server on linux in screen. You can start it with screen like this: "screen ./bf1942_lnxded" That way when you close your terminal connection the process doesn't die. Just do a CTRL D to detach the screen before disconnecting. Thanks to g00d for that tip.

I still did't find the way to run this mofa...

    These are the last lines
STREAM_DEBUG: Adding descriptor for object of templateStationary_Browning id 568 controlPointId 0 with 3 Unique properties
STREAM_DEBUG: Minimum bit size is 24
STREAM_DEBUG: Adding descriptor for object of templateStationary_Browning id 569 controlPointId 0 with 3 Unique properties

I believe there should be something else at the end when the server starts...

    anyone?
