[bf1942] Lags?

Yes Campino, I meant from the server. Sorry I guess I should have posted my
specs also so here we go:

CPU: Dual P3 500
Motherboard: Intel Server
Memory: 512 MB RAM
Bandwidth: 100MB nic card on OC192 Pipe

Same problem for 1 player or multiple players. I call it "BACKTRACK LAG".
Look left or right quickly and your view backtracks about a quarter of the
way back to the direction you moved from. I can rule out bandwidth being an
issue. It is also not a client side issue since this only happens on our
clans (my) linux server and the Win2k version works fine on our other
server. From what I see Campino it probably isn't a RAM issue after looking
at your specs. It's most likly a problem in the BF1942 linux server software
itself but I'm not sure how to debug it.

Icculus has done a great job with this so far so I guess we need some input
from him. I'd be happy to run some tests to see if I can help as I'm sure
most of us are. Hopefully there will be another release soon since this is
basically beta and hopefully we don't have to wait too long. I really don't
want to wipe my server and install Win2k. YUK!

Thanks,

-Stone
