[bf1942] Unable to connect to my Linux Server but shows up in GameSpy and ServerWatch utility

What windows BF1942 patch did u use?
If u used the 1.3 the server wont work, the 1.3 linux is not released
yet, soon to come though.

Hello, I am new to this list, so if this is something you have seen
already, great. :)
 
I have a BF1942 server setup on Linux, and it is not behind a firewall
as of the moment during testing.  The server starts up with a whole
bunch of lines of text, and I can see it exists in the "In Game
Browser", and I use a ServerWatch utility that queries the server just
fine...  I loaded up the client, and patched it with the latest win
release, and try to connect and it just times out and will not connect..
Any help would be appreciated.
