[bf1942] BF and wineX 3.1

sure would be nice to have a native linux client...IMO game developers 
would be well advised in the next few years to design their games as 
platform independently as possible.  that is our philosophy at my software 
company, as the cost of re-engineering for a platform we did not envision 
in the future is much much higher than designing from the ground up with 
ease or porting in mind.

and i can tell you from experience--you can save a ton of time/money that 
way.  NOTHING is easy in the software business.  planning ahead makes it as 
easy as it is possible to be.
