Betreff: [bf1942] New linkage test binary available
Hi,
there's a new executable up on http://bf1942.lightcubed.com/dist called
bf1942_lnxded-1.5-linktest2.bz2.
Please note that it's not a tar archive, just a compressed executable.
If people could test how this binary starts under different versions of
Linux and FreeBSD it would be very helpful for me.
This binary depends only on @@GLIBC_2.2.4 symbols which should make it
work on circa-2000 installations. To accomplish this and still use a
really new standard c++ library I've had to hack how the ctype and locales
are handled in the binary; it's not pretty. :-)
Please give me some test feedback on this, it will really help.
Regards,
Andreas Fredriksson
