[bf1942] OT: Odd screen resolutions

Thanks for the tip.  Interestingly, however, your screenshot looks just 
fine on my CRT here at work.

That will be a nuisance...honestly I was looking forward to getting some 
extra view angle out of the deal as well.  In all FPS's the default view 
angle is like 90 degrees--far from realistic.  So I figured I'd get a 
landscape monitor, add some pixels in the X direction, then bump up the 
field of view a bit.  The goal, by the way, is increased realism, not 
unfair advantage...that's just a pleasant side effect ;-)

Is it possible to alter the field of view in only the X direction in bf1942?
