Linux server and BBO

I am running a linux server..and since the 1.5 update..it doesn't show up in ASE nor gamespy..also mods (content checking off and unpure) don't work as well as custom maps.
supposedly Blackbagops is the reason...which I don't really see...but....
does anyone know how to bypass this crap?
