My LAN-Server (PIII 1GHz, 384MB RAM) had 25% CPU load with 19 players.

There was no bungee-effect, but sometimes the dubblereload-bug. No
server-crash during the tree days!

Yeah wait until you actually get some people playing. With 1.31, the Windoze
server is *far* better than the Linux server.

Sounds like it's going to get better Real Soon Now (i.e. with 1.4), but
you'll be less disappointed if you don't get your hopes up too high...
