I am also have Severe lag issues, last night I finally got a chance to do
some heavy server testing. The server is a Dual Tualatin P3 1.13 GHZ, 1.5
GB Ram, it is located in the Nac.net datacenter and hooked up via a
multi-homed BGRP 100 mps port. Most of the out going traffic is via a Verio
link, and occasionaly other links,, average server ping is 80MS. The server
is set to host a 32 person room, which is pretty conservative due to the
configuration of the server and connection.

The server usually has 7-10 people playing, and their is some minor lag,
such as scren skips, delay getting in vehicles etc. Last night on map
Kharkov I called upon a couple clans to join the server and do some heavy
testing, their was minor lag up until 15 people, after 15 people there was
severage lag. After the 15 person entered, it was not playable, and the
connection warning sign came up everytime you moved, then the server finally
crashed minutes later. Hopefully the lag issue will be solved in the
future!

Thanks!

I have test the settings what you say:
game.ServerBandwidthChokeLimit 128 or 256
game.ServerMaxAllowedConnectionType CTLanT1

It did not become better, if 8 Player on the Server then comes timeout
and connection interrupts.

Just a shot in the dark, here, but do you have the minimum connection
speed set at LAN? If you do, the server will be sending data at huge
rates and cause choppy play. This setting is only useful for actual LAN
servers, or those who will have only internet players with massive
connections (not many). Unfortunately, the default for the Linux server
is LAN, so anyone hosting a server on the internet should set the
minimum connection speed to 128K or 256K settings for better
performance. Just one idea......my server (when its up and full), has
very little lag (after I adjusted this setting and a few others).
