[bf1942] Admin commands not working on latest version?

Use 4711 for the remote console.
admin.enableremoteconsole <userid> <password> [port] (the port number is
optional, 4711 is the default port)

Stupid Question, What port? What do I have to set in the file set of the
server? when I try to connect using 14567 or the default 4711 its
doesn't see it

That is ok, the server is up at that point.
But you cannot run commands there, you run the admin.changeMap "Omaha
Beach"
type commands in game

But download the Server Remote Manager from
http://www.blackbagops.com/bfutils.shtml
And use that to change maps, kick players etc.
