I would double check the firewall rules. Sorry I'm repeating this but I
have a box in front of all firewalls, with the default server configs
and have NO problems showing up on GSpy, ASE, or in the in game menu.

Here is my serversettings.con

game.serverName "[iCG]BF1942 Public-=Linux Beta"
game.serverDedicated 1
game.serverGamePlayMode GPM_CQ
game.serverGameTime 0
game.serverMaxPlayers 16
game.serverScoreLimit 0
game.serverInternet 1
game.serverNumberOfRounds 2
game.serverSpawnTime 20
game.serverSpawnDelay 3
game.serverGameStartDelay 20
game.serverGameRoundStartDelay 10
game.serverSoldierFriendlyFire 100
game.serverVehicleFriendlyFire 100
game.serverTicketRatio 100
game.serverAlliedTeamRatio 1
game.serverAxisTeamRatio 1
game.serverCoopAiSkill 75
game.serverCoopCpu 20
game.serverPassword ""
game.ServerBandwidthChokeLimit 0
game.ServerMaxAllowedConnectionType CTLanT1
game.ServerAllowNoseCam 1
game.ServerFreeCamera 0
game.ServerExternalViews 1
game.ServerAutoBalanceTeams 0
game.ServerNameTagDistance 50
game.ServerNameTagDistanceScope 300
game.ServerKickBack 0.000000
game.ServerKickBackOnSplash 0.000000
game.setServerSoldierFriendlyFireOnSplash 100
game.setServerVehicleFriendlyFireOnSplash 100
game.setServerIP 142.179.102.50

Hope this helps you get it up!

I have no idea how this works, but using GameSpy I was running into the
same problem as everyone else. It wouldn't show up, blah, blah, blah.

When I switched to QTracker, no problems at all. I get everything I
need. All Win32 servers and LinuxBetas as well.

Might it have something to do with the query port that GameSpy uses?

Apparently ASE isn't working at this point (or so I'm told). Try gamespy
and/or the in-game server browser (which using GameSpy).

Or just specify an IP address directly if you just want to see if the
thing is answering connections.
