Start a ded Server

Hello together!

How can I start a dedicated Linux Server? I have downloaded the bf1942-lnxded-1.2beta1.tar.bz2 File and installed on my Linux PC but I don´t found the Startfile. Which File is it and what for a command line must I type in the command console??
