And what sucks is there has to be a way to do it, when I look in the gamespy
server list other linux boxes show up

Hi,
are you using the dedicated filter in the ingame browser? If yes, try
without it. Maybe the ingame browser looks for a "yes" in the "Dedicated"
server rule then and finds none, because it is "linux". Same problem with
ASE which I mentioned in the ASE message board but with no reply.

Hey Guys,
I'm having a problem setting up a linux dedicated bf1942 server.
I think it's setup ok, but it does not get listed in the game.
I think it might be the port is closed, and I checked iptables etc. and they
seem ok.
Any ideas ?
