As for the gamespy query i'm not sure about as it hasnt ran since i got a
seg fault error, wont even start! but you could try adding this to your
conf if you dont already have it.

I don't know if you want to hear this, but since I'm happy about it,
I'll tell you anyways.
I've just installed the BF Linux dedicated server on my FreeBSD 4.6 box
(with linux emu) and it seems to run ok. I get tons of debbuging
messages on screen, but according to the readme I should just ignore
them.

Now to my question:
- How do I edited what it says at the welcome screen in game? Anybody
found that out?
- Will my server be listed on gamespy? I've just refreshed my list and
didn't see it... maybe I was just too fast!
