[avadon] [PATCH] Slightly smarter launch script

I kept having problems getting it to run on my netbook, which turned out
to be it defaulting to a higher resolution than my netbook could.
So I wrote a quick patch to the launch script that will modify the
resolution (if it can detect it) or launch the game in windowed mode, if
it crashes on startup.

Perhaps this could be applied to the available builds until a proper fix
is available?
