Newbie: ArmyOps monitor refresh rate?

Hi,

Is there any way to set the refresh rate for the game?
 I'm a Linux newbie and don't know if it's set in the
OpenGL drivers, in the game engine, in one of the game
config files, or in XF86Config, etc.  The game works
fine, but the in-game refresh rate is at 55Hz (yuck!).
 Thanks in advance.

My system:

SuSE Linux 8.2
official nVidia video driver (custom compiled)
nVidia GeForce4 4400
