[aquaria] Squares in Shield Song message

I just built the Mercurial repository and started playing with it. It
works great until you get the Shield Song. When you get the Shield
Song, some text (THE SHIELD SONG - PRESS ESC FOR SONG MENU) and icons
are supposed to appear on the screen. With the new binaries, the icons
below the text are four blank squares. This happened whether I use the
newly-built binaries with the data from Windows version (from the
Humble Bundle) or from the Linux version (also from the Humble
Bundle).
