If you like you can apply both the timing patch and your patch 1. I
think I will change the interface so that all timers are set with a
float argument in seconds, it feels most natural. But I can just as
well change this on top of your patch, so please apply. I will also
have a look to see if I forgot some permission setting for you in
trac, you should be able to edit the ticket (if you are logged in).
