[airstrike] Anyone tried `Clonk' (windows)?

Bigger playfields is certainly coming in airstrike, but I am not sure if
the level should be a single bitmap (easy to edit and modify) or be made out
of separate building blocks (not neccessarily square, or of the same shape).

If we assume 16 bit graphics a 50 time bigger background would require
50x800x600x2 ~= 45MB in the case of a single large bitmap. This is
probably feasible (with tiling), but I can understand that is gets
slow if there is action all over the map at the same time :) For those
with a 32 bit display it would of course require about 90(!) MB just
for the background bitmap. Maybe a building block approach is more feasible..
We can write a simple editor to build levels with, it might even be fun.
