I have had problems downloading the 1.2 binaries. I've tried numerous times from treefort, 0day and also from totalgamingnetwork.com that Manzi posted. My download from 0day and treefort sometimes stalled, and wget then retries from where it left of. But im not sure how well that works. :/ Ryan, can you tell us the MD5 hash of the file please? :) b.r Mark Minte van Dalen wrote: > Just found this in the screenlog, might be the problem: > > /home/icculus/projects/airborne/Development/Src/Engine/Inc/UnNet.h(159): > Assertion failed: appErrorf > Attempt to replicate property 'ClassProperty > Engine.GameReplicationInfo.GameClass' in C++ that is not in the script > replication block for the class > Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault] > Aborting. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Minte van Dalen [mailto:minte.vandalen at planet.nl] > Sent: zondag 13 januari 2008 15:20 > To: airborne at icculus.org > Subject: RE: [airborne] Starting problem 1.2 server and shut down after 1ste > login attempt > > > Hello, > > I'm running in to a problem with the 1.2 dedicated files and starting the > server. > The server starts, is visible in the server list in game. > > But as soon as I want to join the servers, I seem to log in but after that I > get a message that the server is not there anymore. > > Viewing the logs at the end where I log in: > > DevNet: Level server received: JOIN > DevNet: Join request: Shell?Name=Player?team=255?Invited > ScriptWarning: MOHAPlayerStatsComponent > shell.TheWorld.PersistentLevel.MOHAPlayerController_0.MOHAPlayerStatsCompone > nt_0 (Function MOHAGame.MOHAPlayerStatsComponent.Init:000A) Assertion > failed, line 199 > Log: MOHAPlayerController_0 got player PlasmaNetConnection_0 > Log: +++ Highest channel to date: 1 > DevNet: Join succeeded: Player > Log: +++ Highest channel to date: 2 > Log: +++ Highest channel to date: 3 > Log: +++ Highest channel to date: 4 > Log: > Log: Developer Backtrace: > Log: [ 1] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8340b7b] > Log: [ 2] /lib/tls/libpthread.so.0 [0x902888] > Log: [ 3] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8b87dcc] > Log: [ 4] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8b901a1] > Log: [ 5] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8677b6d] > Log: [ 6] ./mohaserver-bin [0x86b347f] > Log: [ 7] ./mohaserver-bin [0x86b3c4e] > Log: [ 8] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8734896] > Log: [ 9] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8734c35] > Log: [10] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8afdc4c] > Log: [11] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8eb4a3e] > Log: [12] ./mohaserver-bin [0x8eaa04b] > Log: [13] /lib/tls/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xd3) [0x7a2e23] > Log: [14] ./mohaserver-bin(__gxx_personality_v0+0xc1) [0x804bab1] > Exit: Exiting. > Exit: Name subsystem shutting down > Uninitialized: Log file closed, > > > Can anyone help me with this, it's my first setup of a Airborne or Unreal > related server. > > > Regards, > Minte van Dalen > > > --- > To unsubscribe, send a blank email to airborne-unsubscribe at icculus.org > Mailing list archives: http://icculus.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm/ezmlm-cgi?65 > > > > --- > To unsubscribe, send a blank email to airborne-unsubscribe at icculus.org > Mailing list archives: http://icculus.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm/ezmlm-cgi?65 > > --- To unsubscribe, send a blank email to airborne-unsubscribe at icculus.org Mailing list archives: http://icculus.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm/ezmlm-cgi?65 From mark at uplink.dk Sun Jan 13 16:03:45 2008 From: mark at uplink.dk (Mark Andersen) Date: Sun, 13 Jan 2008 22:03:45 +0100 Subject: [airborne] Starting problem 1.2 server and shut down after 1ste login attempt In-Reply-To: <001201c85626$843c27e0$8cb477a0$@vandalen@planet.nl> References: <4787D4DD.4000900@icculus.org> <000c01c854ae$dcb8f250$562e8fd1@cindy> <000001c855f1$db60c290$922247b0$@vandalen@planet.nl> <478A72B5.6020004@uplink.dk> <001201c85626$843c27e0$8cb477a0$@vandalen@planet.nl> Message-ID: <478A7CB1.5000907@uplink.dk> On my server, the startupscript dont work when I start it from within the folder; [mark at uplink ~/airborne/UnrealEngine3/Binaries]$ ./mohaserver exec: ./mohaserver-bin: not found [mark at uplink ~/airborne/UnrealEngine3/Binaries]$ cd ~ [mark at uplink ~]$ airborne/UnrealEngine3/Binaries/mohaserver 0.000: Log: ... running in INSTALLED mode 0.007: Init: Version: 2859 0.007: Init: Epic Internal: 0 ... Maybe that could be why. This usually means it's looking for the Linux glibc and can't find it (and Unix returns a number for the error here, thus the extremely unhelpful "not found" when what it really means is more like "./mohaserver-bin was found, but something it relies on was not") I don't know anything about FreeBSD, but there's probably a Linux compat package you need to install/upgrade to solve the issue. --ryan. It's a large download (1.4 gigabytes!), as the 1.2 patch changed a lot of data files. To upgrade, you should just be able to stop your server, unpack this archive so it overwrites the appropriate files, and restart the server. You still need the data files from a Windows install...the Linux 1.2 patch is huge because the 1.2 patch itself is huge, but you still need other data files not included. --ryan.
