SDL_sound 1.0.3 released

Whoops, 1.0.2 broke binary compatibility for no good reason. 1.0.3 is an emergency release that restores compatibility with 1.0.1.

A new release of the stable branch of SDL_sound has been released. This is a bugfix-only release and remains fully API compatible with the 1.0 series.

Audio from Ryan's UCLUG talk...

.so I talked. And talked. For more than two hours.

The UCLUG was gracious enough to publish the audio from the speech on their podcast. I'm about 30 minutes into it, after the tutorial on shell scripting.

A lot of topics got covered, and it digresses and rambles a lot. My apologies for my lack of brevity. :)

This is apparently being published on lottalinuxlinks.com's podcast, and Hacker Public Radio, too.

I'll be speaking on April 8th at Upstate Carolina Linux Users Group. While I have no idea what I'm going to say yet, I imagine it will be something like An Inconvenient Truth, but with more dick and fart jokes.

Or maybe I'll talk about Linux and gaming.

Sam Lantinga and I have signed on as mentors in this year's Google Summer of Code for Simple Directmedia Layer.

If you're a student looking to get involved with the GSoC, or just want to help improve SDL, here's our general TODO list, but the sky's the limit, so we'll take any good ideas!
