In a historic--and historical--partnership between Google and icculus.org, these two giants of industry are announcing a revolutionary new technology, to be demoed to the public for the first time today.
"It is time to bring the power of our wildly successful AdSense technology to a new content provider. It's like tabbed browsing, or maybe even the ShamWow: the world just doesn't know how much they need this until they have it," said Ryan C. Gordon, CFO of icculus.org.
Google AdSense for .Plan Files (beta) brings Google's ground-breaking targeted advertisement technology to a new medium. Having proven this model with the Google Groups USENET archives, where the consumer is greeted with context sensitive advertising on posts from 1981, icculus.org will now apply this strategy to technology favored by game developers in the mid-90's.
Sergey Brin, one of the masterminds behind Google, said, "we feel this technology will propel Google's stock to unheard of heights. The public's demand for ASCII-based ads on .plan files will be unblockable. Er, I mean unstoppable. It won't be stopped."
Added Mr. Gordon: "I'll be rolling around in money for fun after this."
Added Mr. Brin: "I already do that. With two chicks at once. That's how I hang on Fridays."
To see how the power of Google AdSense for .Plan Files can also help you get two chicks at once, just finger any user @icculus.org, today!
