Due to popular demand (and the persistence of the OpenBox crew), we now support git on icculus.org.
Those with an i.o shell account publish projects through git at /gitspace/$USER without any intervention from icculus.org staff. git-daemon is running, and you can get a list of git repositories here.
If you add a project to git, please let me know so I can add it to the list of projects we host.
Subversion is still available, and will remain so. While it can definitely be handy for some projects, git isn't for everyone, and can be pretty daunting to the uninitiated!
We're still trying hard to get everyone migrated out of CVS to either git or Subversion so we can pull the plug on cvs.icculus.org. If you have a project that's still in CVS, even if it's just collecting dust, please drop me a line so we can get you moved to something with atomic commits.
