Like a rubber band man, I just snap backSat 29 Jan 2004 22:57UTC

I profoundly apologise for my absence. I have spent much time learning how things are done, and while I am still very, very new to this scene, I have come a long way from where I was. I expect to have a new release within a couple of weeks, though I am not sure what to expect from it.

I will say this though: After a few failed rewrites (and a hectic personal life), I have found a solution (however temporary) to the showstopper bug that drove me to abandon gwiz-0.9.1. My current efforts are directed at this latest branch, and their results seem to show great promise. much code must be redesigned, but at least for now, it "works."

The screenshots should be up soon, on account of this. More as it develops.

Not dead yetMon 19 Jan 2004 22:25UTC

Much as I would like to be, it simply has not yet come to pass. At any rate, I am looking to have the current (old, old, old!) cvs tree replaced with something else soon. It is not yet even remotely playable, but it is (so far) much better designed (imo). It will require SDL, SDL_image, SDL_ttf, and PhysicsFS. More as it develops.

Redesigned website, removed stale news itemsFri 28 Mar 2003, 13:33UTC

Finally got around to redesigning the website, using a combination of php and xhtml 1.1.

For those of you who don't already know, GWiz is progressing still, and is being redesigned from the ground up with C++ and Gtk+ (not Gtk--). I have personal issues with Gtk--, to be honest (read: not smart enough to understand it).
