I am a Linux newb watching all this unfold so i can learn how to just
install BF ( not even into the bugs yet :) on my ded server so I would
be
all for something like this cause right now I am lost.
Hope it gets implimented. I am still trying to figure out how this .tar
works is it like winzip and how to you "tarball" the file that is
uploaded
to the server?
Thanks in advance.
I geuss I need Linux 101 but it's no where to be found so I am
struggling as
best I can.
I hope I can get my BF server soon :)

Does anybody else think this list is getting to the point where we might
need a
FAQ/Readme... perhaps included in, or linked to from, the subscription
message?

I see people who have just subscribed asking about how to launch
something
in
Linux, or submitting things allready checked in on Bugzilla, or how to
get a
stack trace... these are all things that could/should be answered in a
FAQ,
because the're probably all going to come up again and again.

If you guys think it's a good idea... I'll start compiling some things
that
I
think are good to know / will come up again.
